Much of the lighting in this image was done in postproduction. The shadows were very overpowering and in
places that I did not want shadows in the first of the two renders used to make this scene. The second
render had no shadows. Then I used a function in PaintShop Photo Pro X3 to add lights and brighten up
sections of the image no lit in the render.
Just what a Seneschal is depends on where they come from. The position that you might believe the depicted character below represents may be different than what I think she represents; and that is okay. That would seem to be one of the joys of telling a small snippet of story through a piece of art--between the image itself and the title.
