Hello, I am Robert G. Male.
Welcome to WraithStop. Here you will find links that I think are of interest.
Furthermore these are links that I want to keep track of because they have given me either ideas or some other form of
inspiration for my writing. Links are listed in order lowest to highest both in the date they are given and the order
in which they appear (meaning: read them from the bottom up for a certain day's list). Some of these sites may require
you to sign up for free. Without further ado, the links...

Blaise Aguera y Arcas demos augmented-reality maps (video 8:14)
augmented reality, dystopian, history, implications, life blogging, location, nightmares, psychic, security, stalk, technology, terror, video.
- This same video appeared over at
where more technical and practical aspects were discussed. The first implications here go to the great wealth of
information that this will give to stalkers and anyone looking to keep tabs on someone else. Thieves will
use it to know when you're home and where in the house you are if you add in lifecasting functionality. It
is even more invaluable for invaders looking to break in and terrorise you. The mobile, over the air
manner in which the information gets around makes it easier to use than home security cameras. On a more
esoteric line of thought the ability to see archival footage of an area could be used as an easier
inducement for a psychic to push a victim into a delusion or waking nightmare. Technological horrors of the
dystopian kind spring readily from this as well.

How to Create a Ghost
also Philips and Egrigors and Tulpas - Oh My!
entities, ghosts, history, information, malevolent, manifestation, Philip (Created Ghost), psychic ability, psychokinesis, thought forms, Toronto Society for Psychical Research.
- The creating a ghost article is a deeper look at the creation of the
Philip ghost by the Toronto Society for Psychical Research mentioned earlier at WraithStop in the "also" link
above. There is even a book titled
Conjuring Up Philip: An Adventure in Psychokinesis.
I find this piece of history particularly interesting and keep coming back to it. The physical manifestation is one
thing, but the imprinting of ideas, and notions of its past that developed beyond what the group was aware they were
giving to Philip is very good fodder. There are several ideas that come to mind expanding beyond the recorded
information and the speculation about why it happened as it did... ideas such as subconsciously introducing a
malevolent streak, some malicious entity imprinting the false persona, and the like; or just plain dealing with it
when it demands things like rights or wants an office or even a corporeal body.
