Cold Spots: Fort Delaware
  • What is it about places that will be haunted being places that start in tragedy or at least disaster, as if something is already wrong about them? Sometimes people look at fictional accounts like this where mayhem piles up and dismiss it as flights of fancy, but they are based on locations like this. This article also unknowingly speaks to a particular schism in ghost lore where there are photos of half seen figures not seen by the eye, but at the same time accounts of ghostly figures indistinguishable from the living until they disappear or do the impossible like passing into a wall. Also, the civil war is of a particular interest to us from both the stand point of when the original terrors took place and the haunting remains now.
