• The first two images are quite evocative before the third one makes it revelation. These spillways would be a great location for horror to take place. From bodies dumped into them, to holes in them leading to subterranean caverns filled with terrifying creatures. That is extending from the real to the fictional. The visuals, and the implications can be taken to entirely fictional lengths such as a hole in the water leading to nowhere or another world. As much as the water is sinking other things could be coming out of the open tunnel. There are many more options.
