BMW augmented reality video 2:38
- This old video (2007) is still a pretty slick and well thought out
illustration of augmented reality learning. It does not need to be limited just to the classroom, but
would also be used as a great reference allowing the mechanic (or anyone referencing any subject) to
deal with uncommon procedures and exotic vehicles at a moment's notice (if of course source material is
made readily available and easily searchable/accessible). The medical field will love this sort of thing
because no one can know every procedure, not to mention the teaching benefits. In that use case other
advantages of augmented reality will come into play as well as using it with robotic surgery systems so
the surgeon can see augmentedly what the robot is doing deep inside the body.
