Watched the http://www.streamy.com/ intro video. Looks interesting, maybe what I've been looking for even. Will investigate and report. Short Streamy hiccup with a server error. Must be busy. Running tour now. There's drag & drop, multiple options, combine many streams. The first thing, and this was detailed at http://tinyurl.com/ml6e3r is Streamy can pull in your FriendFeed stream and social graph/friends. Added Facebook, FriendFeed, Digg, GMail chat, MSN/Live chat to Streamy with no issue. Twitter on the other hand isn't loading pages. Lots of big name blogs to add to your Streamy, at least for the tech geeks. Must investigate what other manual options can be added. Yes, there is an option to add RSS URLs. Will have to come back to this later. I'm wanted elsewhere. @AngelaWilson I just had Twitter successfully added to #Streamy now. Using #Streamy seems good. Opens overlayed blocks for stories, some link open new tab. Have not played with the menus. Will explain next. #Streamy Click & drag a title in a stream a bit to access options from a circle around pointer. Save item, send 2 service, send 2 friend. Did something in #Streamy to lose my columns. To get them back you click on the plus next to column then same 4 widget and add them back. @AngelaWilson You're welcome. It seems fortuitous I found it. Then again it was natural to look (for the site that sent me to it). 2more #Streamy bits. Button to go 2 top of page again is nice. 1 question is how 2 pick new people 2 follow. Easy to find, hard 2 chose. I'm finding what seems like a huge flaw in #Streamy right now. How do I get a link to send people to my profile to follow me? |
